Exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical/Electronic Engineer with practical knowledge of compliance & certification for analytical instruments. Our client is an OEM that manufactures complex analytical instruments that are used to complete a vast array of scientific research. These instruments need to be rigorously tested to ensure they meet functional and regulatory standards. As a Compliance Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and updating test reports and technical documents associated with their instruments. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will monitor change requests, conduct safety tests in line with IEC61010 & EMC regulations and liaise with internal & external stakeholders to manage compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of HNC Electrical/Electronic w/ 18th Edition Wiring certification Knowledge of LVD (Low voltage Directive), EMC Directive, WEE & ROHS is essential Knowledge of IEC61010 & EMC testing Component/workshop experience is desirable In return, our client will offer you a competitive remuneration package, and the chance to join an established company at the forefront of cutting-edge scientific instrument R&D.
