Digital Marketing Assistant

is key in supporting the digital and marketing teams, ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities and campaigns. This position is highly versatile, requiring the ability to handle various tasks across website management, digital marketing campaigns, content updates, and measurement and reporting. The Digital Marketing Assistant will be instrumental in ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Assistant will work closely with all digital marketing team members to maintain consistency across website and app platforms, ensure campaign effectiveness, and contribute to the overall success of the digital strategy. This role provides significant opportunities for growth, learning, and exposure to various digital tools and techniques. Key Responsibilities

Website Management and Content Updates

Regularly update the website using WordPress CMS, ensuring all information is accurate and timely. Perform routine quality checks to ensure the website is free of errors, including broken links, outdated content, and inconsistencies. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimize website structure and on-page SEO elements, such as meta tags, alt text, and internal linking. Assist in creating and updating menu pages, blog posts, landing pages, and acquisition campaigns. Liaise with external developers and platform providers to troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

Campaign Support and Execution

Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns, ensuring all assets are built, tested, and deployed on schedule. Coordinate with Paid Media and CRM teams to ensure campaigns are integrated across channels and aligned with broader marketing objectives. Assist in A/B testing email campaigns, ads, and landing pages to optimize performance. Maintain campaign checklists to track deliverables and deadlines, ensuring nothing is missed. Provide administrative support, including uploading creative assets, updating shared files, and organizing campaign documentation.

Email Marketing

Build and schedule email marketing campaigns using tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Test emails across devices and email clients to ensure compatibility and deliverability. Work with the marketing teams and CRM Manager to ensure email marketing is delivered to brief and to the best segment of subscribers. Monitor email campaign performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and share insights with the team. Maintain and update the email subscriber database, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.

Content Calendar

Manage and update the content calendar, coordinating with team members to ensure alignment with campaign schedules and key dates.

Analytics and Reporting

Compile weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital campaigns, using tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, and email marketing platforms. Track and analyze website traffic, user behaviour, and conversion metrics to identify trends and insights. Maintain organized records of historical campaign data to support ongoing performance benchmarking. Assist the team in preparing presentations or reports for stakeholders, highlighting campaign outcomes and improvement areas.

Content Management

Upload, organize, and manage digital assets, ensuring they are stored logically and easily accessible for team use. Monitor content performance metrics, such as time on page and bounce rates, to assess effectiveness.

Required Experience and Skills

1–3 years of experience in website and content management, or a similar role is essential. Hands-on experience with website management and email marketing tools. Familiarity with supporting integrated campaigns across multiple channels. Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or similar) for content updates and page creation is essential. Experience with email platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Klaviyo is desirable. Intermediate knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs). Working knowledge of analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Ability to use project management tools like Trello or Asana to track workflows. Benefits & Rewards
