Can you assist us in setting up a centralised procurement process in our growing business?
Independent Forgings and Alloys is a growing business and as such we need a Procurement Manager. You will work alongside the management team, setting up and improving our procurement process.
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the management team and so to our overall success.
Whilst one day will never be the same as the next, a typical day might look like this;
Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, making sure they deliver on factors such as quality, cost, delivery and are financially stable.
Keeping in contact with our key suppliers to build relationships, foster collaboration and address any issues promptly.
Collaborating with other departments to reduce waste, identify and eliminate bottlenecks
What do you need to succeed at IFA?
You will have a proven track record in delivering a high quality procurement service.
You will be used to communicating at all levels of the business and building relationships
You are likely to have some experience in a production type environment
You will have great organisational, numeracy and IT skills
You are likely to be qualified to at least HND or similar Level 4 Qualifications
