Business Development Manager

to be based in Scotland.

Business Development Manager responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the environmental services sector. Lead Generation:

Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Sales Strategy Development:

Collaborate with the sales team to create and execute effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns. Proposal Development:

Prepare and present proposals and bids for potential clients, demonstrating our expertise and value proposition. Networking:

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our services and expand our client base. Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., technical, marketing) to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Performance Tracking:

Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and growth. Business Development Manager requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in environmental services, chemicals, waste management, etc. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Passion for environmental issues and sustainability. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
