We are delighted to be assisting our client with their next hire! We are looking for an LED Engineer on a permanent basis to join our client's growing business at a crucial time of investment and expansion.
Standard working hours are Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, out of hours work may also be necessary due to the needs of the business. Notice will be given for any requirements to work away from home and all expenses will be covered by the company.
This role is integral to the delivery and support of large scale LED projects. As well as being at the forefront of most projects, you will be required to assist with the installation and ongoing maintenance of LED screens.
Duties will include:
Installation / Setup of indoor and outdoor LED displays Daily Monitoring of LED Screens & Associated Equipment Monitoring of support email inbox Report resolution back to the person who raised the fault (Internal / External) Perform site surveys and associated measurements using the appropriate tools and methods Assist with Screen/Display installations working alongside team members and contractors alike Assist with the maintenance of Screens/Displays and follow up with the project manager / Account Manager with updates/resolutions Assist with diagnosing faults Assist with the mounting of wall brackets/screen structure pre LED/LCD display installation A large element of manual handling is required due to the nature of the work Working at heights can often be necessary; full training will be given Traveling to sites both locally and nationally is a requirement of the role Driving the company commercial van
Essential Experience: Full UK Driving Licence
Desired Experience: Experience of working at heights is beneficial IPAF+ qualification is advantageous but not essential Previous experience of using software such as Taurus and Novostar would be advantageous
