The day centre is committed to offering social interaction for the elderly population, promoting Rights, Independence, Fulfilment, and Choice. We are seeking applicants who will embed the values of Middlesbrough Council and will be passionate about the service that we provide. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who can work as part of a team. The successful applicant will support our vulnerable service users with all aspects of daily living, including: Carrying out personal care Feeding Administering/assisting with medication Supporting a daily activity programme Engaging with carers and other professionals Statutory training will be provided, including first aid and manual handling. You will also be required to work a flexible rota, which may include some extended daytime hours. A full UK driving licence is a desirable requirement for this post. Please note, this is a part-time vacancy working 25 hours per week. The above post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
