Job Description

We're looking for a meticulous Part-Qualified Accountant to manage our financial records and support our team with precision and care. Our ideal candidate is currently pursuing their accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and is eager to continue their studies with our support. With superb numerical literacy and fantastic attention to detail, they excel in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They are comfortable and proactive in communicating with team members, external suppliers, and leadership, ensuring financial clarity and efficiency.

Your role Maintain our financial records in Xero for our multiple entities (the UK and Netherlands for now) and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure all reporting and returns are completed accurately and on time for travel bonding, tax authorities, investors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Manage accounts payable by ensuring supplier payments are reconciled, tracked, and paid on time. Oversee accounts receivable including invoicing, producing statements for clients and business partners, and following up on overdue accounts. Work collaboratively with management and other team members to improve financial processes, enhancing efficiency and ensuring they effectively support the wider team's needs. Qualifications

What we're looking for

Currently pursuing an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) with progress in exams. Past experience in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing financial statements. Past experience preparing detailed financial reports. Good knowledge of current accounting tools (specifically Xero). Superb numerical literacy skills and fantastic attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and work collaboratively with team members, leadership, and external suppliers. Proactivity: you can think on your feet and take initiative to identify and resolve financial challenges. What would be great (but isn't required)

Experience in travel or a high growth startup. A desire to drive efficiency and automation in processes. Advanced Excel or Airtable skills. Additional Information

What we offer

Study Support: We'll cover the cost of exams on the first attempt and provide study time. The exact support will depend on your progress and preferred study method (e.g., online tutorials or in-person lessons). £35k-£40k salary, depending on experience. Company ownership through equity. Remote-first, flexible working

80 hours whenever: flexi-working across two week periods. 20 days wherever: work when you like and where you like for most of the month. 2 days together: join us in London two days each month including our monthly social. A funded day a week in a co-working space.

The process

If we like your application, we'll invite you to a 15 minute call with Becca, our People Manager. After that, you will have a detailed competency interview with Maya, our Finance Director. The final stage is a longer interview designed to help us get to know you as a person, again with Maya, Finance Director, and Cat, the CEO.
