My client is looking for a

Maintenance Workshop Engineer

to take charge of ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of plant assets in their thriving manufacturing environment. We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on engineer to run all aspects of the maintenance operations, minimise downtime, and keep the equipment running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Schedule Maintenance:

Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules while coordinating with production teams to minimise disruption. Troubleshoot and Repair:

Diagnose equipment issues, perform timely repairs, and ensure systems are operational with minimal downtime. Oversee Compliance and Documentation:

Maintain detailed maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Optimise Resources:

Manage spare parts and tools, control costs, and collaborate with vendors for servicing and procurement. Drive Improvements:

Lead equipment upgrades, enhance efficiency, and reduce energy consumption.

What We Are Looking For:

Strong technical expertise in mechanical handling equipment. Experience in maintenance, repair, or plant operations management. Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills. A proactive problem-solver with a positive, can-do attitude. Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and safety regulations. Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives for improvement. Experience with trailer repairs and inspections is a plus but not essential.
