Position: Group Financial Accountant Contract: 12 Months Company: Service Company based in Darlington
Hays are currently recruiting for a leading service provider based in Darlington who pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge solutions that drive success for their clients.
What You'll Do: Manage and consolidate financial statements for our diverse group of companies. Analyse financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Conduct financial audits and prepare detailed reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth. Provide advice on technical accounting areas including analysis of the impacts of developments and changes in GAAP. Assist with group taxation affairs including year-end tax accounting, corporation tax compliance and maintenance of the group tax risk register. What the client is looking for: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
