You should be able to work well under pressure and be comfortable handling personal data. You're passionate about great customer service and able to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively. You're a team player, adaptable to the needs of the business, and willing to step up and take responsibility. Location is office-based in Luton, 24 hours over 3 days: Tues/Wed/Thurs. Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities: Receive, process and manage all vetting requests for new Operatives in line with the appropriate industry standard. Play a key role in getting our existing front-line workforce vetted in line with the appropriate industry standard. Ensure operational excellence in all the security check processes that underpin the integrity of the Company and satisfy the requirements of regulators, delivering a consistent and professional experience to the Operational Managers. Be the first point of contact for any vetting issues and communicate with candidates, employees, and Operational Administrators / Managers where necessary to ensure a quick and seamless process. Ensure vetting is completed in a timely manner for new Operatives by regularly liaising with the Regional Administrators to understand and resolve any high-level issues, escalating where necessary. Understand the importance of ensuring new Operatives are vetted correctly and quickly, and the impact the role has on the wider business. Be the first point of contact for any SIA licensing issues and support with applications. Raise LDN's, ECS and enhanced DBS checks as and when requested. Ensure we are GDPR compliant at all times. Adhere to agreed service level agreements with the business and Head of HR Operations. Work on ad hoc projects and tasks when needed to meet the demands of the business and provide support to the Head of HR Operations as required. The ideal candidate Worked within a multi-site environment in a complex matrix structure. English at GCSE grade C equivalent. Previous experience in an administrative / compliance role. Proven experience of analysing data & reports. Experience building excellent working relationships with all levels of management and across organisational lines. Excellent attention to detail. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate problems and resolve issues using own initiative. Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise & meet agreed deadlines. Competent user of IT systems including basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate, or a valid share code.
