Senior Data Platform Engineer Salary Up To £85k + bonus London (1-2x per week) Role Overview : As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, working with AWS to ensure the platform scales smoothly. You'll work with Terraform to automate our infrastructure and help maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment and seamless delivery. Your experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices will be key to ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data systems. Responsibilities : Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS using tools such as Terraform. CI/CD Pipelines: Build, optimize, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of our applications. Automation: Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud infrastructure and configurations. Collaboration: Work closely with development, data engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes. Performance Optimization: Continuously improve infrastructure and pipelines to enhance performance, security, and reliability. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, sharing your expertise in cloud infrastructure, Terraform, and CI/CD best practices. What We're Looking For : Terraform: Hands-on experience with Terraform to manage infrastructure as code and automate cloud deployments. CI/CD Expertise: Proven experience in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines (using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). AWS: Solid knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others.
