Senior Cluster Director of Sales

who is ready to support the growth of our business and central sales function. You will lead an on-property sales team across multiple brands in driving performance across the UK and Europe. We are looking for an experienced leader with high energy and a lateral thinker to join Cycas’ commercial team, as we prepare for a solid pipeline of new hotel openings and take overs. Lead, coach, develop and manage Sales Teams to achieve the Key Performance Objectives and goals set down for the hotel(s). Conduct a quarterly/monthly one to one Sales review meeting with each Hotel Sales Manager to review performance and agree targets and objectives (KPIs), in consultation with the Group Director of Sales & General Manager. Support with annual appraisals and performance management and ensure each Sales Manager has a development plan in place to support development and succession planning. Work with General Managers and Sales leaders to ensure a Sales culture is embedded throughout the entire hotel team. Identify synergy and areas of opportunity across our teams and hotels, share and implement Sales best practices across the portfolio to drive engagement, development and greater results as a consequence. Managing the Sales Team

Work with both the central revenue and marketing function to ensure key commercial activity is undertaken by all on-property sales team members, delivered, monitored and success criteria met. Ensure each individual sales team member is given direction on agreed accounts and segments, ensuring that they are effective in role and where appropriate have the tools and knowledge to succeed. Develop strong relationships with the appropriate brands, to ensure through accountability that they are supporting our objectives by account and segment contribution set out through business planning and when the market dictates. Ensure our CRM tool in Salesforce is maintained and updated as per the required standard set by the organization, whilst ensuring ALL Cycas tools are embedded and utilized to support our processes and people. Strategic Sales Planning

Support on-property teams in creating strategic sales plans based on comprehensive knowledge of market position, pricing and rate structures, sales strategies, revenue management, booking trends, and future hotel planning. Ensure all on-property sales teams actively lead and/or participate in regular Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Revenue meetings across the portfolio with internal stakeholders on property and across Cycas Hospitality. Align on-property team and activity to the Cycas Scope of Services and objectives. To review and implement commercial agreements & strategies where appropriate to drive greater engagement, performance with third parties, whilst identifying opportunities to drive ROI in return. Support the annual Budget process for each hotel, supporting Hotel Sales Managers with the production of the relevant Sales and Marketing sections, reviewing budgets as part of the internal Cycas review process and then presenting to owners as necessary. Ensure each Hotel Sales Manager has robust quarterly objectives and targets in place (KPIs), in line with business needs and market opportunities. Ensure key annual sales processes are managed effectively, such as ‘Wish Want Walk’ rate submissions, the RFP process and Business Case/Qualifier submissions. The candidate will have the following skills and experience: Acknowledged Sales experience in Key European Destinations/Markets. Strong leadership, management, negotiation and relationship skills. Commercially savvy, highly driven and determined to achieve results. Identify group wide commercial opportunity, whilst improving productivity and efficiency. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Analytical approach to sales and ability to “think differently, innovate”. Effective ability to supervise, motivate, coach and develop teams. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations. Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a motivator. Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment. Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines. Have the desire and ability to coach selling techniques to the team on property. Direct experience of leading and managing Hotel Sales Teams across major hotel brands. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Able to drive accountability across all levels of an organization, whilst gaining buy-in from multiple stakeholders. Fluent in English verbal and written with additional languages preferred. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to travel on a frequent basis with a high degree of self-motivation and time-management skills. Flexible team player with excellent cross-functional and interpersonal skills.
