Are you ready to drive innovation in high-performance computing for groundbreaking clinical research? We are seeking

a Senior HPC Engineer

to join an agile DevOps team. You’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing an HPC platform vital to Clinical Pharmacology. This is your chance to collaborate with leading scientists and build cutting-edge solutions that make a tangible difference in the healthcare industry.

As part of a dynamic team, you will: Design, deploy, and maintain HPC applications and services on private and public cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Manage scientific workflows leveraging open-source and vendor software to support computational research. Provide operational support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and implement best practices for efficiency and reliability. Oversee infrastructure, user engagement, and GitHub workspace configuration for seamless cloud integration. Optimize application performance, maintain documentation, and mentor team members.

Key Requirements Expertise in operating large-scale computing environments (HPC, HTC, or BC), ideally in Life Sciences. Proficiency in Linux, networking (TCP/IP), and storage subsystems. Hands-on experience with AWS, Bash, Python, and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible). Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Singularity) and schedulers (Kubernetes, Nomad). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus), and scientific tools like Nonmem, MATLAB, or R. Strong understanding of test-driven development and performance tuning for HPC environments.
