Clinical Lead
Advinia Healthcare are looking for a dedicated Clinical Lead to come and join the team at Millview Care Home in Glasgow. Millview is a 39 bedded home focusing on elderly care and dementia. The home achieved 4's from CI in its last inspection.
Responsibilities:
Ensure appropriate standards are maintained by monitoring and providing professional support to senior staff/team leaders. Conduct appropriate reviews of care plans/risk assessments and medication administration, ensuring all assessment tools are in place and fully utilized. Ensure all residents have a complete care assessment prior to admission, considering their physical, social, and psychological needs, with a minimum of an annual reassessment of each resident's needs. Deploy staff efficiently in relation to care duties by setting up and controlling the duty rota. Check and monitor care staff hours and authorize timesheets in the absence of the Home Manager. Establish good personal relationships with residents and their families. Work with the Home Manager to ensure all induction and mandatory training is completed, identifying other specific training needs. Collaborate with the Home Manager on achieving action plans from external regulators or internal support functions. Requirements:
Registered Nurse (valid PIN) Ability to communicate at all levels Ability to work on own initiative unsupervised Work to deadlines In return:
