Commercial Finance Business Partner . You will deliver information and help drive improvement in Capital Delivery and enable improved programme performance. This will include providing a robust, insightful and balanced view across regulatory, performance and financial objectives. You will ensure a high-quality monthly reporting rhythm and challenge existing practices to identify improvements in both the short and longer term. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting the capital spend, delivery outcomes through partnering Capital Delivery Business Leads. This is a great opportunity to broaden your skill set further as you will be analysing and communicating capital outputs, performance against regulatory, financial and efficiency targets to key stakeholders to provide a holistic view over programme delivery. Key Responsibilities
Partnering Business Leads to ensure delivery of Capital Programmes through insightful analysis and challenge. Lead on month-end reporting for key business areas and providing regular forecasts / budgets. Supporting the Capital Delivery MI strategy by leading on projects to drive improvements in reporting. Facilitate the production of robust forecasts for CAPEX, IRE, and OPEX. Provide analysis and insight on monthly, annual and AMP performance against targets on outputs and finances and drive action within delivery areas where activity is off track. Supporting continuous improvement of all capital performance and regulatory reporting to drive business delivery of strategic objectives. Robust challenge of departmental forecasts to ensure credibility and deliverability, challenge of existing practices and identification of opportunities to improve performance and drive efficiencies. What You’ll Bring to the Role
Financial qualification in ACCA, ACA or CIMA. Be commercially minded with experience of understanding performance and driving improvements. Demonstrable track record of taking the lead in diagnosing business issues and delivering performance improvements. Having the ability to build strong and credible working relationships across the organisation is a must. The successful candidate will have the ability to understand linkages between complex data sets, focusing on priorities to deliver company objectives. What’s in It for You
