Urgent Contract Technical Architect
Duration: 6 months +/ Inside IR35
Candidates must have an Active Security Clearance
Project Overview:
The project involves defining requirement, assessing bids, and subsequently facilitating solution integration between the Authority and the Hosting and Storage supplier, ensuring a smooth transition, and supporting technical aspects of service migration.
Activity Overview:
Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input into the definition of procurements, engagement with potential bidders and bid reviews.
Act as a technical SME for solution integration between the Authority and the supplier.
Provide assurance for the supplier's transition approach.
Review and approve the supplier's High-Level Designs (HLDs) through the Authority's governance process.
Assure the supplier's test plan from a technical viewpoint.
Assure the supplier's T-Minus Plan.
Provide technical support for any migration activities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Technical SME: Act as the main point of contact between the Authority and the supplier, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
Technical Reviewer: Review and provide feedback on HLDs, test plans, and T-Minus plans.
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance during service migration, addressing and resolving any issues that arise
Critical Skillset:
Experience with both on-premise hosting infrastructure and services and cloud-based hosting services
Experience in providing technical expertise in a procurement context: requirements definition, bid review and evaluation, supplier exit and transition
Experience in working in close collaboration with supplier partners; SIAM experience
