Barry Jones Exciting Opportunity for HV Cable Project Engineers!
Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for infrastructure projects? My blue-chip client in the transmission sector is looking for you! This is an excellent chance to join a major infrastructure project, providing cable engineering support across various projects. In this role, you will be responsible for producing or reviewing outline cable system designs during development phases. Key tasks include: Reviewing and assessing technology options Selecting underground cable routes Producing current rating calculations You'll be working in a hybrid set-up with attendance at the client's offices in Scotland. The role starts ASAP and is set for a duration of 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension. The rate is £650 daily inside IR35, paid via an umbrella. I'm looking for candidates who hold a minimum of HND in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering (with demonstrable experience in HV projects), have 3+ years of cable project experience, and previous experience in transmission.
