I'm working with a large manufacturing company in Cramlington who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician. As part of the maintenance team, you will undertake planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance activities on equipment, tools, and facilities across the whole site.
What you'll be doing:
Completing planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools, and facilities Continuing to develop the planned preventative maintenance procedures emphasizing breakdown prevention The installation and/or modifying of equipment as required Conducting a root cause analysis of breakdowns and implementing effective reoccurrence prevention plans using resources available Working as part of the maintenance team ensuring good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers as required Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers Using the PC for accessing information, emails, and completing reports Training and mentoring apprentices Shifts:
This is a dayshift role working a 9-day fortnight as below: Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 1pm Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and off Friday Who we are looking for:
Time-served electrician, with experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment Possess excellent communication skills and have an electrical background with a good working knowledge of PLCs 17th or 18th Edition preferred but not essential Good organisational skills, being self-motivated, and having a hands-on approach to problem solving with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team is essential To apply, please forward your CV and I'll arrange to give you a call.
