£43,000 Per annum A UK-wide Facilities Maintenance supplier is seeking a skilled
Gas Engineer . In this role, you will be responsible
for completing maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and associated plant on-site . You will also act as the appointed person for gas on the contract, ensuring all gas-related operations meet statutory requirements and are completed efficiently. This position is a static role covering an educational campus in Glasgow City Centre; limited parking is available. Key Responsibilities: Perform statutory inspections and reactive repairs on gas appliances and associated plant. Oversee annual maintenance and auditing of gas networks and gas maintenance across sites. Ensure gas certification is up to date. Assist with other tasks within your skill set as required. Maintain a professional image and deliver excellent customer service to clients and visitors. Commit to ongoing professional development and training. Skills and Experience Required: CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT qualifications. Proven experience working with large commercial boilers and direct-fired AHUs. Experience with commercial catering gas is a bonus. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Organised and disciplined approach to work. Computer literate (Word, Excel).
