Here we live up to our mantra of 'Making Every Meal Moment Special.' About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee our factory operations during the night shift. This is a pivotal role with overarching management responsibilities for the entire site. You will be responsible for managing over 400 employees on shift and will report directly into the Head of Operations with two direct reports who are the Factory Shift Managers. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and management for the night shift operations Ensure smooth and efficient operations across all areas in the factory Make critical decisions with limited resources available during the night shift Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance Maintain high standards of food quality and safety About You As a Manufacturing Manager, you will have experience in chilled prepared food, particularly ready meals, within a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You will have utilised business improvement tools and managed manufacturing in high-risk, high-care, and raw protein settings. You thrive in challenging environments and can make important decisions with limited resources. Key Skills Chilled Prepared Food experience (ready meals) in a fast-paced results driven environment Strong management and people skills Ability to drive performance through large teams Must be familiar with decision making/analytical tools and have a demonstrable ability in using them effectively, tools to be used Six Thinking Hats, Pareto, Grid, Force Field, Cost Benefit and Impact analysis, LFA (Logical Framework Analysis) Experience with Multi-function responsibilities and knowledge of significant complex products and processes Benefits 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays Stable work environment with consistent site investment Refer a friend scheme Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and Grocery Aid are free and confidential support services 365 days a year Boparan Restaurant Group Discount - 50% discount for friends and family.
