Key Responsibilities:
Support the Sales and Finance Directors as required. Collaborate with various departments to facilitate strategic and operational benefits. Manage a small team and provide upskilling as appropriate. Review and submit monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC for imports, duty, and related taxes/allowances. Perform reconciliation, analysis, and interpretation of large data sets. Work closely with the IT manager to enhance existing systems and processes. Requirements:
ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or qualified by relevant experience (QBE). Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Internal Auditor. Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial improvement and operational efficiencies. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High level of commercial acumen. Ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment. Exceptional attention to detail with strong numeracy and literacy skills. Experience managing a small team. Capability to conduct independent research for new opportunities and challenges. Strong skills in analysing both financial and written data to derive meaningful insights. Excellent communication skills, able to present information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
