Finance Assistant , you will work closely with the Financial and Management Accountant to support daily financial activities. This role is ideal for someone confident in accountancy, eager to learn, and excited about being part of a dynamic team where growth and development are encouraged. Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant: Handle daily payment and receipt recording, bank reconciliations, and reporting Manage sales invoices, customer accounts, and debt collection, ensuring system accuracy Process purchase invoices, prepare supplier payments, and support month-end tasks like reconciliations and journals Set up client accounts, update project costs, and maintain internal records Assist with financial reporting, calculations, and general administrative support for the finance team Requirements of the Finance Assistant: Ideally, holding or working towards AAT qualification (training in progress) Familiarity with robust financial controls, policies, and procedures Experience with Sage software is advantageous but not mandatory Proficient in general IT, with a preference for familiarity with Microsoft Office programs A collaborative team member who can develop strong and lasting professional relationships Skilled in time management and adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic workload Benefits: Competitive salary of up to £32,000 DOE 25 days holiday per annum (pro-rata for part-time) Workplace pension with employer contributions Monthly cash allowance This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-moving and supportive company with potential for career progression.
