Accounting Manager

who will be responsible for delivering accurate accounting and reporting across various operating units, to internal and external stakeholders to support timely decision making. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring robust controls around numbers reported in the financial statements. The Accounting Manager will have overall responsibility for specific operating units and ensure that numbers included in the general ledger are accurate, timely and can be supported, and will be the SME for their area. Every day you will … Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex and contentious issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions. Identify and analyse commercial and financial risks and provide mitigation to reduce business risks. Develop and deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and control processes. Investigate incidents and reports and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders. Minimise risk exposures and ensure adherence to regulatory standards by working internally to ensure compliance programmes are implemented correctly. What can we offer you? Proven experience in an Accountant Manager role is essential. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and effective approach to teamwork. Extensive experience in Business Partnering. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex financial data and identify discrepancies. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial records and reports. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Full professional qualification is required for this role.
