Management Accountant / Project Management Office (PMO) The role is to work with the Head of Finance to prepare, develop and analyse financial information to allow the company to make well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, profitability and growth. This will include establishing and maintaining financial policies and management information systems and is an integral function to inform management colleagues on all aspects of company finance. In addition, the role will include ensuring management and deployment of project controls across our major development projects. This will include schedules and baselines, presenting clear information for our project leadership to inform key decisions. The role combines accounting skills with effective management and concise communication to both financial and non-financial management. What you'll be responsible for: Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentaries Lead the quarterly project financial reporting and manage any relevant financial audit engagements Assist in the production of the annual budget and rolling forecasts Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis Ongoing review of cash flow Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts Review and submit the quarterly VAT returns Manage capital expenditure Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations and review of intangible assets Ensure compliance with all financial regulations Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations Provide ad-hoc support to the HOF Carrying out analysis and reporting including schedule reviews, risk reviews, project reviews. Working closely with project leadership to create metrics What your ideal qualifications would look like: Qualified Accountant with minimum 3 years’ experience Understanding of management information systems Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial management Based within easy access of Farnborough. What we can offer: Competitive salary: £46,000 - £55,000 gross per annum, depending on specific experience and qualifications relevant to the role.
