The role involves undertaking various tasks including quote preparation to customer specifications and requirements within timescales.
REQUIREMENTS
Preparation of quotations within deadlines Ensure correct product selection in line with customer requirements Maintain close client contact building rapport and customer loyalty Liaise at all levels; from customers, area sales managers and management team Ensure maintaining profitable sales Feedback market trends and information Maintain and maximise use of CRM, accounting and sizing software Ensure all products are purchased in compliance with mandatory requirements Identify training needs to assist your career progression
WORKING CONDITIONS: Based in our Head Office - Office based
ANY OTHER DUTIES NECESSARY: Be flexible to the requirements of the business Observe and maintain the company's Health & Safety Policy and Procedures. Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time
PERSON SPECIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ TRAINING Engineering qualification (ONC, HNC, BEng, etc) - Desirable Computer literate (Microsoft Office) - Essential Good standard of English and Maths - Essential
Knowledge Knowledge of the industry - Desirable Understanding of valves, pipework and applications - Desirable Understanding of pressure pipe systems and fittings - Desirable General understanding of engineering principles - Desirable
Experience Experience of working in a similar role - Desirable Preferably with valves - Desirable Good communication skills (written and verbal) - Essential
