We are looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join our Infrastructure team based on a major rail project in Penrith, Cumbria. The successful candidate will join our growing environmental team, ensuring environmental compliance and ambitious sustainability targets across the project. What you'll do:

Provide environmental compliance advice to various teams, including design construction, procurement and subcontractors Undertake environmental audits and inspections, both internal and external, including suppliers and waste contractors Deliver suitable environmental and sustainability training for all project staff Drive awareness for and delivery against contract targets, particularly reducing Carbon, materials efficiency and striving to achieve no-net loss in biodiversity What you'll bring to the role:

Degree level in appropriate Environmental or relevant discipline (ideal) At least 3 years’ construction industry experience or relevant environmental experience in a similar sector Minimum Practitioner Membership with IEMA or similar professional membership, or working towards Full driving licence Equal opportunities
