Marketing & Communications Executive
An opportunity to join AFH Wealth Management, one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.
We are looking for individuals who wish to grow with us as a business and support our strong growth plans, with hybrid working. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity where you will support Marketing team projects and workstreams to deliver AFH Financial Group’s marketing strategy while supporting the wider Marketing team to achieve its objectives.
As our Marketing & Communications Executive, you will typically:
Support and take ownership of marketing projects and workstreams regarding adviser marketing and adviser support, marketing collateral production, including liaising with agencies and internal stakeholders to create campaign assets as required
Take ownership of relationships with third party sites such as VouchedFor and Unbiased, supporting advisers and the wider business to maximise the exposure and value these sites can offer in terms of lead generation and profile building
Support the analysis and continuous improvement of customer journeys, both digital and offline
Support in the evolution of the group’s websites
Manage the monthly e-newsletter including suggesting relevant articles, and reporting on the MI each month
Partner with business areas across the Group, including People, Advice and Risk teams to deliver accurate, engaging and timely content
Identify, build and manage ongoing relationships with key business stakeholders across the organisation
As part of the role, you will also:
Manage risk approvals where needed, via the Marketing Promotions Approvals System
Create content and copy where needed
Manage creative brief requests
Liaise with third party agencies and suppliers where needed
Support acquisitions, including writing to clients with welcome pack & other documents, arranging signage, rebranding subsidiary business collateral, CMS landing page, bios and photos
Manage the Marketing Inbox in a timely manner
Provide support to AFH Adviser population, including creation of marketing collateral artwork & risk sign off, creating unique item references
Support with client communications when needed
Support with editing Teams Live recordings for internal audiences
What we are looking for in our ideal Marketing & Communications Executive:
A solid understanding and keen interest in all aspects of the marketing communications mix, along with a good knowledge of campaign and brand management
Experience of financial services
Skilled at creating content
Experience and / or knowledge of internal and external communications, with an understanding of the importance of informative and engaging communications to relevant audiences
Experience using various digital tools e.g. Microsoft Suite, SmartSheet, Canva and CMS systems
Ability to take briefs, follow direction and respond to feedback
Self-motivated and can work on own initiative or part of a team
Effective written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Versatile and creative thinker
