As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be supporting Project Managers with the management and delivery of multiple (Circa 80) on-going enquiries and orders received into the Spares and Kitting department as well as supporting on bids. This is a busy business area so we’re looking for someone who can manage their time efficiently. Day-to-day, you’ll:

Support the project management process for our kitting projects Deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial reporting to support Business reporting to senior management Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources Apply the Business Management System (BMS) appropriately for the project and produce and communicate project-reporting data on Project Controls and Finance systems Undertake aspects of stakeholder management and communications activities including visit to sites and support development of stakeholder management plans This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home with some flexibility around this. Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Experience of the Assistant Project Manager:

Experience in managing multiple projects – desirable Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out – desirable Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager:

APM Project Fundamentals Qualification/APMP/Prince2 or equivalent – desirable Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
