Alexander James Recruiting is currently with a leading supplier of Material Handling equipment that is looking to on-board a Parts Supervisor to oversee their parts team and work with their customers across the UK. With a competitive package, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager from Material Handling or a related sector looking for a new, challenging role. Responsibilities Managing a team of parts staff working with customers throughout the UK. Handling the full process flow for all parts arriving and being dispatched to customers, ensuring full accuracy. Maintaining an efficient throughput of all stock to meet strict deadlines. Managing stock levels, being proactive to manage lead times and avoid customer delays. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, reporting any concerns regarding stock levels or order delays. Requirements Our client is ideally looking for an individual who has experience in managing a parts department within the Material Handling industry. This is essential; however, they would also be open to candidates who have experience in managing a parts department within a related, fast-paced industry such as Agriculture or similar. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of Oldham. They provide various products, including road vehicles, multi-passenger & pedestrian-controlled vehicles, as well as other handling products. With a well-established client base, they now require an experienced Service Engineer to cover their client base across the South of England.
