Are you an experienced IT Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer, looking for a temp to perm position within a global leading Manufacturing organisation? Our client is well-established within the Manufacturing sector and is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the operation, administration, and maintenance of the Company's IT systems and network infrastructure.
Job Description Take ownership to ensure all work and changes to the infrastructure are performed in such a way as to minimise disruption to existing business use. Installing, configuring Cisco Catalyst/Meraki switches Maintaining systems in line with ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials plus Support, install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, TCP/IP and Cisco Switches and Routers Patch management, software management and automation using SCCM Responsible for implementing, designing, supporting and maintaining the infrastructure for the office applications and services across on-premises and cloud environment
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Strong working knowledge (CCNA/CCNP) Cisco Catalyst/Meraki networking including VLANs, Subnets, QOS, and Routing Protocols Patching and maintaining VMware hosts whilst minimising system downtime Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, active directory, Microsoft Office, SQL, networking, and computer hardware
