PAT Specialist - Field Based
Working for one of the UK’s largest independent providers of cleaning equipment.
Location:
London
Duties: Carry out initial PAT duties on equipment to ensure they pass compliance checks. Ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety standards and regulations. Record and label tested equipment with pass/fail results. Maintain accurate and detailed records of tests, inspections, and maintenance activities. Manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed. Conduct visual inspections for wear and tear, damage, or any other potential hazards. Ensure that faulty equipment is either repaired or removed from service until it is deemed safe. Report findings and recommend actions for any defective or unsafe appliances. Ensure that all testing equipment is well-maintained and calibrated. PAT Requirements: PAT Testing Certification (e.g., City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent). Basic electrical knowledge or qualification. Previous experience in PAT duties or electrical safety inspections. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in inspections. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills for reporting and record-keeping.
