As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most. Job responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist with interventional imaging procedures for patients across acute and non-acute pathways, ordering supplies on the unit 4 system, as well as caring for patients before and after their procedures. We welcome applications from all areas of nursing although previous experience in interventional radiology, endoscopy, cardiac catheterisation or theatre is desirable. Training will be given to successful applicants to ensure that an excellent knowledge of interventional procedures is gained. The key qualities of a radiology healthcare assistant are a passion to advocate for the patient and their safety, champion the trust values and have the desire to work within a dynamic team. Our radiology healthcare assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of consultant radiologists, radiographers, nurses and support staff to deliver safe, effective and efficient care to all patients attending the radiology department.
