An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, analytical, and process driven Senior Buyer to join a manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be able to make the role their own and there will be lots of opportunities for progression in the future.
Duties:
Managing and building strong relationships with suppliers.
Sourcing new suppliers.
Dealing with pricing issues, updates, and undertaking pricing analyses.
Maintaining and updating the ERP system accurately.
Ensure that product prices and supplier details are accurately maintained.
Raising purchase orders.
Providing quotes.
Monitoring stock lines.
Reading drawings.
The successful candidate will have/be:
Previous experience within a similar role within manufacturing (essential).
A desire to progress within the role.
Able to read technical drawings.
Resilient.
Organised with the ability to juggle differing priorities simultaneously.
IT proficient.
A driving license and own transport due to the office location.
