Main Function The Workspace Manager plays a key role in overseeing the Workspace Management function, ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Reporting to the Head of Workspace, you’ll implement processes, manage budgets, lead projects, and enhance the working environment to support employee engagement and operational efficiency. A forward-thinking approach and strong understanding of workplace trends are essential. What You Will Be Doing 1. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure workspace services align with business needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for workspace-related initiatives and feedback. 2. Policy Development & Implementation Develop and implement workspace policies aligned with global standards, focusing on simplicity and efficiency. 3. Budget Management Assist the Head of Workspace in preparing and managing operating and capital expenditure budgets. Ensure cost-effective service delivery within budget constraints. 4. Project Leadership Support the Workplace PM team with office-specific projects. Take a lead role in managing office relocations and similar initiatives. 5. Vendor & Supplier Management Oversee outsourced FM partners, ensuring performance, training, and compliance through robust governance mechanisms. Ensure services are delivered to the highest standards while maintaining ethical business practices. 6. Facilities Management Manage the delivery of facilities management programs, including preventative and reactive maintenance, lifecycle requirements, and SLA adherence. 7. Health & Safety (H&S) Collaborate with the HSQA team to implement H&S procedures that ensure a safe working environment. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 8. Business Continuity Partner with the Business Continuity team to ensure readiness for events that could disrupt business operations. 9. Employee Wellbeing & Engagement Drive workplace initiatives that promote a positive environment and enhance employee wellbeing. 10. Strategic Planning Continuously assess and improve workspace services to meet current and future organizational needs. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone who is not just professional but also knows how to keep things light and positive. Ideally, you will bring: In-depth knowledge of building services, maintenance, construction, and property management. Proficiency in business administration, financial principles, project management, and procurement. Familiarity with FM software tools and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively. Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
