Are you interested in helping us make the RSPB the best it can be? We have an exciting vacancy for an Organisational Development Advisor on a 12 month fixed-term role with potential for extension. As part of the Learning & Organisational Development team, this role will help build a strong learning culture through developing the capability of our line managers. You will collaborate and connect with L&OD and HR, as well as establish and maintain relationships with people from across the whole organisation. The role will focus on two key areas:

Bespoke programmes & Learning Cultures : The successful candidate will work with line managers across the organisation to improve their team’s culture through deploying learning interventions and creating bespoke programmes. You will work with key stakeholders to create programmes that embed positive learning cultures and bring about positive change. HR Skills : The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between HR and L&OD in designing and delivering core HR skills programmes for managers. You will work with an L&D (Learning and Development) Adviser to help develop clear guidance and design and deliver engaging workshops. You will support the development of line managers' skills when dealing with employee conduct, performance management and absence issues. As well as developing Investigating Managers and Hearing Managers. You will work alongside HR colleagues to ensure key HR policy decisions provide clarity for managers. Essential skills and experience:

Listening and questioning skills to support through learning needs analysis HR qualification or equivalent experience with experience of designing or implementing HR policy and practice Experience of coaching and advising managers on building high performing teams Experience of creating engaging learning materials that encourage collaborative learning Facilitating group coaching or peer-learning workshops Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present and facilitate conversations with a variety of audiences Stakeholder management skills with at all levels in an organisation Effective influencing skills with the ability to explain and discuss concepts and ideas with a range of stakeholders Experience in running behaviour-change or people-focused change programmes Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

This is a Full-Time role for 37.5 hours per week on a fixed-term 12 month contract with potential for extension. This role is suitable for a secondment.
