North Cumbria Crisis Team is looking for highly motivated Clinical Support Assistants to join our newly developed Crisis Service. You will have the opportunity to base in Carlisle or Workington to deliver high-quality care to our patients in the community across North Cumbria. You will work as part of an MDT, complemented by Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and medical staff. Main Duties of the Job
To assist in the delivery of care to service users who have a variety of needs, diverse presentations, and a range of mental health conditions, cognitive and/or learning disabilities under the direction of a registered practitioner. The overall responsibility for the service user remains, at all times, with the registered practitioner. To implement and evaluate care within a prescribed framework as a member of the care team ensuring that high-quality, individualized care is delivered and that this promotes recovery and wellbeing and maximizes independence. To support the team in providing excellent and effective person-centered care. To provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect, and dignity.
