Are you a highly professional Pharmacy Technician looking for a new challenge? Would you like to join our team, delivering excellent, patient-centred dispensary services across NHS Tayside?
We are transforming the way we supply medicines, maximising the use of technology and digital systems. Through our work on medicines optimisation we are working to support cost-effective use of medicines through efficient medicines supply systems, reducing medicines waste and improving sustainability.
We are looking for a professional leader, keen to develop their knowledge and skills within a supportive environment. As the Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will be expected to have comprehensive knowledge, understanding and insight into performance and operational issues which will enable you to lead, co-ordinate and develop dispensing services throughout the seven dispensaries across four sites within NHS Tayside. You will support the Specialist Pharmacy Technicians and their teams, providing a safe, efficient and effective service, developing and sharing good practice, and ensuring standards are achieved within a culture of continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong desire to promote innovation and will have meticulous attention to detail.
