JOB PURPOSE Our client is currently looking for a Service Engineer with experience in the Agricultural industry to join their knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly team near Reading. While the work is technically challenging, they look to provide a well-structured training program. JOB SPECIFICATION Repair, maintain, and service a variety of agricultural machinery. Have knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics. During quieter times, you may be expected to complete some workshop-based servicing. Deal with customers, as you’ll be speaking to many of them about the service, repair, diagnostic, or warranty work that you have undertaken, ensuring they are happy with the job before moving on to the next. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Will hold a full UK driving licence. Will ideally have previous experience in the agricultural industry. Have sound knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics, and hydraulics. Be a great communicator with exceptional customer service skills. Hold a qualification in land-based engineering (preferable but not essential). SALARY/BENEFITS A salary of around £35,000 per annum. Company bonus scheme. Company pension scheme.
