CNC Programmer
is urgently requested to work in a busy organisation based in Totnes. The right candidate must have experience in Programming CNC Lathes using either Fanuc 21iT or Siemens 828D controls. They have machinery including
Doosan's Colchester, Hardinge and Tornados . This is a Permanent full-time role to work 39 hours per week with good rates of pay plus
overtime available
at
1.5 x hourly rate. Work hours:
7-3:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7-1pm Friday Benefits: Company events Company pension On-site parking Private medical insurance Sick pay Gym Overtime Summary of Responsibilities: Programming and machining parts to specifications, ensuring parts are produced efficiently and on time, including prototypes and one-off products. Conducting inspections (dimensional and surface finish checks), taking corrective actions to address issues (technical, quality, or time-related), and managing the tracking and documentation of works orders. Ensuring materials and relevant paperwork are maintained. Upholding cleanliness and machine maintenance. Following manufacturing procedures with a focus on improvement. Continuously reviewing methods to improve productivity and quality. Working in compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience requested: Previous experience in programming CNC Lathes/Turners using FANUC/Siemens controls. Able to read and understand engineering drawings. Experience of
