Site Engineer - Tier 1 Contractor - Major Civil Engineering Project - Hampshire
Role overview: My client is a Tier 1 Construction and Civil Engineering Company. They have recently been awarded a major highways redevelopment project in Hampshire and are looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Site Engineer to their existing project team.
Your duties include: Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations) Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management) Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirements Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
