Days Mon-Fri, 7am - 3pm, based at our Thames Refinery in East London What will you be doing? As a Maintenance Engineer, you will provide an efficient maintenance service to all plant/equipment used within our refinery and packaging areas to continuously improve plant availability and reliability. You will have maintenance responsibility for all mechanical and electronic systems within the process of packing, utilities, and jetty sections; problem-solving along the way and offering long-term solutions. Supervise maintenance activities optimizing available on-site resources and contractors to ensure expedient, high-quality repairs, servicing, and improvement projects. Administer and review SAP maintenance system for budgeting, historical trend & reliability analysis, and to maintain accurate SAP inventories. Undertake detailed RCA on component failures, generating and implementing modifications & improvements to address reliability and performance issues within the plant. Supervise cleaning resources to maintain plant hygiene. Participate in capital projects at all stages of implementation through to commissioning including pre-delivery inspections & installation of new plant for area of responsibility. Carry out plant isolations. Champion all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental targets. What are we looking for? Experience of working in an automated continuous process environment with a mechanical bias. Preferably an HNC/NVQ 4 in an engineering discipline, at least BTEC/ONC in relevant discipline or completed Apprenticeship. Experience of Predictive/Preventative maintenance techniques and regimes. Knowledge of Health, Safety & environmental systems & procedures. Knowledge of PLC and HT control systems. Training:
