Data Platform Tech Lead Salary Up To £110k + bonus Location : London (1-2x per week) Role Overview: As a Tech Lead Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing our Data Platform strategy, focusing on building a flexible, scalable infrastructure. Your role will encompass key elements of the platform, from access control and monitoring to cost allocation, data cataloguing, and quality management. What You Will Bring: We are looking for a hands-on leader who is passionate about building robust, scalable data platforms and who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and automation will be key in transforming our data infrastructure. Must-Haves: Infrastructure as Code : Proficient in Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar CI/CD Pipelines : Experience maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines Automated Testing : Expertise in writing automated tests Monitoring & Alerting : Proven experience with monitoring services and automated alerting ETL Pipelines : Strong background in designing and optimizing ETL pipelines Cloud Experience : Expertise in cloud platforms, especially for ETL, orchestration, and permissions (AWS preferred) Programming : Expertise in at least one OOP language (Python, Java, Scala) SQL : Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries Note:
