Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnered with a successful and growing Consultancy business in South Lanarkshire as they recruit for an Interim Finance Director. With over 10 years of experience behind them and global operations expanding, our client is currently seeking an experienced Finance Director on a part-time basis, which is 3-4 days for an initial 6-month period. This is a commercial finance opportunity where you will report to the Managing Director and offer crucial insight into business performance. This opportunity offers a competitive salary of £90,000 - £100,000 depending on experience (pro rata).

Your new role The Interim Finance Director will work as part of an experienced leadership team and will act as a trusted advisor to the business. This is a hands-on Finance Director role in a growing company where you will be given exposure to leading the finance, providing extensive reporting and insight to the Group board, supporting efficiencies on a new ERP system and financial processes, and business partnering across a technical business. This role will engage heavily with the business and provide vision and clarity about profitability, cash flow, and maximising revenue as the business moves forwards.

What you'll need to succeed The Finance Director will be experienced in running a successful SME business (current turnover 17 million) with strong technical and commercial accounting skills. Experience of bids and tenders would be helpful. Candidates must be qualified and have strong systems and process change experience.

What you'll get in return This is a fantastic role for a refreshing business with extensive capability in the market. You will be rewarded with a broad finance director remit facing all business areas with oversight across a global network. You will have the opportunity to work 3/4 days per week on a highly competitive salary and be part of the company's strategic vision as they continue expansion plans.
