Site Manager No 2 (Regional Construction Contractor) Up to 60k + Car / Car allowance + Package Nottingham A leading regional contractor is looking to recruit a Site Manager to work as a number 2 with a Project Manager on a 16 million extra care new build project in the Nottingham area. The company has enjoyed steady growth with a turnover around 100 million, winning numerous awards including the BITC Responsible Business Award and the UKCG Employer of the Year. They incorporate family values and a collaborative, forward-thinking attitude. Recently, they have secured numerous projects and therefore require a talented Project Manager who can lead from start to finish with the support of a visiting contracts manager. Their schemes range in value from 5-25 million, with projects averaging around the 10 million mark. Their projects vary in market sector and include Extra Care, Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential. The Site Manager Role This contractor is looking for an experienced 'number 2' on site to work under and report into the Project Manager. Responsibilities include: Effectively programming site works. Responsible for all health and safety on site. Managing all quality inspections. Driving projects forward effectively. Being ambitious and driven to achieve tight deadlines. Managing cost, quality, and time of the project with minimal support. They are looking for an autonomous Site Manager capable of working as a number 2 on construction schemes over the value of 5 million, ideally with some care home project experience. A Main Contractor background is essential. Benefits You will have the opportunity to earn up to 60,000 per annum, with a car allowance supplied on top of the yearly salary.
