Financial Analyst

is responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis – who supports the Senior Leadership of Accruent. The position requires an individual who is well-versed in the use of financial analysis tools and techniques and has a strong general knowledge about the software business. The principal objective of the position is to help drive financial and performance reporting for all revenue, expense, and forecasting for Accruent leadership team. This position reports directly to the

VP, FP&A . We are a Remote First company, occasional (10%-15%) travel to our Austin headquarters or other geographical centers of concentration may be required. How you'll make a difference:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support business strategies and initiatives within the software industry. Partner with senior leaders (CFO, CSO, CCO) to provide financial reports and analysis on the performance of Annual Recurring Revenue, operating expenses, and ability to support ad hoc analysis. Provide forecasting insight and delivery of bookings forecast for the global organization. Partner with the sales organization to get detailed perspective on bookings pipeline and outline any risks or opportunities. Assist in the development and management of the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Analyze financial performance against key metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management. Support leadership development of business models for evaluating returns on investment opportunities and building out long term strategic plans. Conduct financial reviews of the company’s monthly performance for the senior management team, CFO, and others as needed. Provide financial analysis, variance analysis, and budgeting support throughout the company. Deploy new technology (such as AI/ML and ChatGPT) to streamline and accelerate reporting and analysis. What you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or a related area. 3-4 years of financial analysis, reporting and forecasting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry. Strong oral and written communication skills. Expert at Excel. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Detail-oriented and good organizational skills. Great problem solving and analytical skills. Accounting and/or forecasting and planning software experience. Ability to work independently and cohesively with others. Ability to meet internal and external deadlines. Preferred: Experience with forecasting tools, consolidation systems and ERP’s, specifically OneStream, NetSuite, Salesforce. Preferred: Knowledge of SaaS Metrics, recurring revenue, churn, NDR. Future Development:
