Shaw Eyecare is an Independent Eyecare Specialist based in the Cumnock area. Our mission is to make a difference to people’s lives by improving their vision. We’re a values-driven business with a focus on: We Can Attitude All Details Matter Care & Community Responsibility Established for many decades, Shaw Eyecare operates two practices, one in Cumnock and the other in Mauchline. Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are recruiting an Optometrist for our practice in Cumnock, with flexibility to cover Mauchline as required. At Shaw Eyecare, our vision is to be Scotland’s leading independent Eyecare Specialists. As part of the Urquhart’s group, we have a small management team who are in place to help our five optometrists service our patients in the local area. We have a clinical focus offering OCT, Topography, and participating in many shared care schemes that are available in Ayrshire and Arran. We are looking to add an Optometrist to our team. You will be part of a team of optometrists and supported by a business function that allows you to focus on what you want to do most – care for patients. You can also expect to be supported with your professional development (Management/IP, etc.), to have a platform to voice opinions and for those to be implemented as part of our business improvement, and it will be an environment where you are valued and you’re not just a number.
