The Opportunity: Clarion Events EMEA is a division of Clarion Events, a global leader in organising exhibitions across diverse sectors such as gaming, defence, retail, and technology. We are seeking a Customer Insight Manager for the EMEA region who is proficient in customer research methodologies and eager to enhance products and services for our clients. This is a pivotal role in driving the organisation's customer-centric approach with primary responsibility to collaborate with sector teams to lead insight projects, capture customer feedback, translate results into data visualisations, assess progress against critical success factors, and perform data analysis to address complex challenges. Additionally, the role will contribute to the broader goal of transforming Clarion Events into a fully customer-centric business. The key goal will be to successfully lead and complete insight projects within agreed timelines, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture across the organisation. You will be curious about data, excited to uncover insight, and eager to share that excitement with the sector teams that you partner with. Key Responsibilities Conduct and integrate findings from both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Develop insights driven by data to understand customer behaviours, preferences, and trends. Assist event teams in enhancing product and service offerings through comprehensive customer analysis. Execute analytics, modelling, data management, and reporting solutions. Contribute to process enhancements by applying best practices and understanding of internal or external business challenges. Coordinate with the central IT team to provide inputs for marketing technology development, ensuring alignment with customer-centric objectives. Convert data-driven insights into actionable recommendations and strategic initiatives. Collaborate with sector teams to gain an in-depth understanding of market-defining attributes, facilitating strategic decision-making. Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, customer insights, storytelling, and stakeholder communication. Skilled in analytics tools and software. Capable of clearly conveying complex information. Understanding of how customer insight overlaps with marketing operations, campaign marketing, and portfolio strategy. Independent project management and presentation to stakeholders. Problem-solving using existing solutions. Experienced in data analysis tools like PowerBI and quickly adaptable to new platforms.
