Assistant Project Manager

Hybrid, London (site based)

£45,000 to £55,000 per year depending on experience

Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract (FTC) with potential for a permanent position. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the HVAC industry, and does not require a technical background. You will assist in managing project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing project activities. Assist in developing solutions and presenting them to clients alongside the sales team. Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to define project scopes. Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations, CDM requirements, and company standards. Manage documentation, track budgets, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Conduct site visits to oversee progress and address any on-site challenges.

Qualifications & Skills: 3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally within the HVAC or construction sectors. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication abilities for engaging with clients and teams. Basic knowledge of health & safety compliance, including CDM regulations. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
