Continental shift pattern An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing facilities maintenance company at an iconic banking establishment near Liverpool Street Station. This role is perfect for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking to take their career to the next level in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Based in the heart of London’s financial district, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of all electrical systems within this prestigious building. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while providing essential support to a high-profile client. Key Duties: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, UPS, and generators, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. Quickly identify and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operations. Handle daily emergency callouts and complete logbooks and RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements). Attend client meetings and liaise with key stakeholders regarding maintenance and operational issues. Test emergency lighting systems and ensure they’re up to code. Perform a variety of electrical tasks, including wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting, and heat exchangers. Assist with general building maintenance, including plumbing and drainage tasks when required. Demonstrate strong knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, and LV systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and fault-find efficiently. Candidate Requirements: Technical Certification:

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). A City & Guilds qualification is desirable. Experience:

At least 3 years in a similar role, ideally within a high-reliability environment like financial services, data centers, or critical infrastructure. Skills:

Strong fault-finding abilities, experience with BMS, and familiarity with UPS and emergency power generation systems. Shift Work:

Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends. Compliance Knowledge:
