Qualified Commercial Solicitor
to join our in-house Legal Team. As part of an international team of legal professionals, this role focuses on the core Michelin commercial business in the UK and ROI, with an opportunity to assist other group companies such as Michelin Licensing, Blackcircles.com, Camso UK and the Fenner Group. Working alongside colleagues in the Europe North Region (UK, ROI, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic territories) there is an opportunity to be involved in international work and projects. What are we looking for? Working for a customer centric organisation, we are looking for a proactive and innovative qualified solicitor to join the team in the UK. You will be comfortable and confident engaging with the business directly, including senior management, gathering facts and driving matters forward to conclusion. You will have exceptional communication skills and be able to shape, support and influence deployment of legal matters using your legal expertise. Requirements: Qualified and practising solicitor with 3-6+ years PQE gained in a global in-house role or at a leading national or global law firm Live within commuting distance to Stoke-on-Trent Right to Work in the UK What will you be doing? Advising on core commercial operations, you will be: Involved in supporting key stakeholders on distribution models and associated value-added services, as well as validation of marketing materials, influencer relationships and sponsorship agreements; Advising on the deployment of new solutions and tools, for example, Artificial Intelligence and digital services; Providing support to the procurement team, and have strong commercial contracts experience to assist with contract reviews, including supply agreements, framework agreements, licensing contracts and MSAs/Local Service Agreements; Having a strong working knowledge of data protection regulations (UK GDPR & EU GDPR), drafting and negotiating data processing agreements, and advising on PDIAs and DSARs. You will also assist in identifying process simplification, exploring legal design and legal technology, combining design skills and legal expertise to find legal solutions that are applicable, accessible and adapted to the needs of the business.
